Process

How a Spectral project runs.

Six stages, from your first message to the final walkthrough. Each one exists to keep you out of the dark about what is happening and what comes next.

Inquiry

You tell us about the project.

Share the basics through the consultation form: where the house is, what you want to do, a budget range, and how you like to be reached. The owner reads every inquiry.

  • Takes about five minutes
  • Read and answered within one business day
Fit review

We check it is a good match.

Before we book a meeting, we confirm the basics: service area, project type, budget, and current availability. If it is not a fit, we say so plainly and point you somewhere good where we can.

  • Service area and scope confirmed
  • Honest budget alignment, not a quote
  • Earliest realistic start window
In-home meeting

We walk the space together.

The owner meets you at the house, walks the space, and talks through the renovation. We turn your goals into a realistic scope, with no pressure to commit.

  • Site walk-through with the owner
  • Conditions and unknowns written down
  • An honest path forward
Scope and finishes

We put the project in writing.

We define the work on paper: scope, finish level, materials direction, schedule, and the decisions that will shape the budget. This is where the project becomes real.

  • Defined scope and exclusions
  • Materials and finish direction with real ranges
  • A schedule with decision dates
Build

We build, and we keep you posted.

Construction runs on a steady rhythm. A written update every Friday, selection and approval meetings on the calendar, and any change to budget or schedule flagged in writing before it happens.

  • Weekly written updates
  • Scheduled selections and approvals
  • Changes flagged in advance, in writing
  • A clean, well-run job site
Walkthrough

We close it out the right way.

The owner walks you through the finished work, handles the last details, and closes the project on paper. We stand behind the work after you move back in.

  • Owner-led final walkthrough
  • Punch list and final cleaning
  • Warranty and follow-up in writing
